Masterplan Isola Sacra

A Masterplan for the reorganization of 38 areas located along the border of the so called ‘Isola Sacra’ (Sacred Island) in Fiumicino, at the estuary of the River Tiber, is a significant opportunity for  the Regione Lazio (Lazio Regional Authority) to promote the valorization of a stunningly beautiful natural landscape that includes archaeological sites, sports & leisure facilities, docks & marinas and a protected area.

The ongoing project by AKA Architects is focused on enhancing the continuity of this ring of water and green areas which represents a precious source of environmental beauty.
